The Classroom of The Elite Blu-ray had low sales, with each volume only selling around 1,300 copies. That was for the first season. The second season sold much better, with first volume selling more than 7,000 copies.
While Blu-ray sales are not as important as they used to be due to the popularity of streaming services, they can still help an anime secure additional seasons if the sales are strong.
The latest light novel volume of Classroom of The Elite, published on October 25, 2022, volume 8, sold more than 100,000 copies. This is a fantastic number. The light novels are doing really well, it’s one of the best selling series in Japan.

The latest manga volume of Classroom of The Elite did not perform well. it didn’t rank on Oricon even once. It sold fewer than 25,000 copies. Well, everyone is buying the light novels, so the manga is just extra.
There was very little merchandise available for Classroom of the Elite, but now there is a little bit more with 300 pieces and 10 figures. It should be much more for such a popular series, but it’s improvement.
One thing I can tell you is that the second season of Classroom of The Elite is doing much better than the first one did, and if the third season will do even better, then a fourth and fifth seasons aren’t just a dream.
Classroom of The Elite Season 3 Release Date
Classroom of the Elite Season 2 is confirmed, and the Classroom of The Elite Season 2 official release date is July 2022. The third season of Classroom of The Elite is coming out in 2023.
I didn’t have high hopes that this series would get a second and third season, but I’m not that surprised about it. Classroom of The Elite is one of the best-selling light novels in Japan right now.
Also, studio Lerche is back, and most of the staff look the same for the second season, so I hope they learned from the first season, and this time we will get a good adaptation. I just hope they won’t adapt five volumes in 12-13 episodes.
