Date A Live Season 4 is finally around the corner fans have been waiting for the continuation of this anime for a while now. It was previously scheduled to release in October 2021 but due to “Various” reasons it was delayed.
Date A Live is a Japanese light novel series written by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako. Fujimi Shobo published 22 volumes from March 2011 to March 2020 under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. Yen Press holds the license to publish the light novel in English.
Fourth season of the Date A Live anime series, titled Date A Live IV, was produced by Geek Toys and directed by Jun Nakagawa. Like the rest of the series, it follows the adventures of Shido Itsuka and the Spirits, supernatural female entities that have fallen in love with him.
Fumihiko Shimo wrote the fourth season’s scripts, with Naoto Nakamura designing the characters and Go Sakabe returning to compose the series’ music. It premiered on April 8, 2022. The opening theme is titled “OveR” performed by Miyu Tomita, and the ending theme is titled “S.O.S” performed by sweet ARMS.
Episode 1 Date A Live Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on April 8, 2022, at 10:00 PM JST and is confirmed to run for 12 Episodes with a new one releasing every Friday.

Plot Of Date A Live Anime
Itsuka Shido was just another regular high school boy with a normal life. But, on the last day of the spring holidays before school started, a spacequake wrecked the town and a girl in armor appeared in front of him. Shido’s adoptive sister, Kotori, tells him that the girl is a “Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit,” which caused the spacequakes and revealed that she was the commander of the organization that dealt with Spirits, and ordered him to go out on a date with the Spirit in order to pacify her. Kotori tells him, “I don’t ask you to defeat the Spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world.”
