Nier Automata Anime: New Teaser OUT!
Aniplex produced a new teaser to explain what they wanted to do with the series. This movie is made up of both concept art and animated scenes. The game’s director, Yoko Taro, and its animation director, Ryoji Masuyama, are both interviewed. Because the original work was about games, Yoko wanted the animation to be different in many ways. Masuyama stayed true to the original plot and script, much to the audience’s satisfaction.
The producers and staff of Aniplex and the anime studio lost out to Yoko’s ideas for the show. However, “This Version” in the anime’s title signifies certain tweaks to the story. Ishikawa and Hanae discuss the show and react to promotional artwork in this video. Both actors were huge fans of the plot of NieR: Automata. Hanae worries and wonders how well it will show what makes the game special.
What Is The Plot?
The anime is based on the 2017 game. It follows the androids 2B and 9S on their mission to clear Earth of harmful machine lifeforms. The game’s story combined different ways to play, so players had to play it more than once to find out what happened and see it from different points of view. Therefore, It explores serious philosophical concepts and urges players to ponder their positions.
Although, NieR: Automata’s ending A is merely part of the game’s tale, to witness the whole story, players must play until ending E. These endings show the story from different angles. So it’d be on-brand for Taro to change the anime’s finale. But the final product is yet to come to the screens alongside a full-fledged trailer!
Nier Automata Anime: Release Date
Nier Automata’s release date was January 2023 at the Aniplex Online Fest held in October 2022. Although, There has been no announcement regarding the show’s release or the number of episodes. The most recent upgrade, version 1.1a, was showcased during the 5th-anniversary webcast for NieR: Automata in 2022.
