Extra cast members for the upcoming pole dancing–themed anime Pole Princess were announced on a special Livestream. Yoshino Nanjo joins the cast as Yukari Mikoshiro, Saori Hayami as Noa Aoi, Rina Hidaka as Sana Murafuji, and Rie Kugimiya as Azumi Shino. A clip of the project’s newest character, Azumi Shino, dancing on a pole was also on the channel. There has been no word on when it will be available.
They released a video and teaser image for the anime last week. Studio Tatsunoko Production is in charge of the animation, and Avex Pictures is responsible for the soundtrack. Hitomi Ezoe directs the anime, and Touko Machida oversees the composition of the series. Tomari did the initial character design, Yoshihiro Otobe is the CG director, and Kenta Higashiohji is responsible for the score.
What Is The Plot?
Hinano, 17 years old, is the main character of this story. She is a normal girl who doesn’t stand out in any way. The planetarium Hinano had been going to with her grandma since she was a kid is closing down. Hinano observes a dancing woman on a pole in the middle of a starry night. Meanwhile, she pondered whether she could assist her grandma and the planetarium. She rallies her friends to join her in pole dancing, and the group sets up a stage in the planetarium to perform shows.
The official website says that Hinano’s character is shy and doesn’t know how to express herself well. Though she may seem timid, she is, in fact, a dedicated worker. Since she was a tiny girl, she has enjoyed going to her grandmother’s planetarium. Hinano’s best friend since they were kids, Lilia, is full of life and positivity. She is normally confident in her talents and believes she can accomplish anything. She does have moments of doubt. In conclusion, Subaru is a formerly promising rhythm gymnast. Due to her injuries, she was forced to retire, effectively ending her career.
